Sun tea is awesome! It’s so refreshing and the flavor makes ones taste buds dance with joy. There’s just nothing like it when it comes to the drink of choice while working out in the yard, lounging in the sun or enjoying a wonderful meal with the family.
The quintessential perfect blend is extremely easy to make and requires nothing special at all.
It’s best to make either a half or full gallon at a time. Partially because the flavor comes out just right and partially because it will go so quickly
Here’s for a gallon, just cut everything in half except for the time outside for a half.
Fill a gallon jug with cool water. Preferably a glass container, but a common semi-clear plastic milk jug will do just fine.
Poor in 1/4 cup of sugar and mix well. 1/2 cup if you prefer your tea a little sweeter.
Get 12 Lipton Tea Bags 8oz, i.e. the same small bags you use to make a single cup of hot tea.
Dangle the tea bags from the top of the container from the strings that are on them.
Place the lid on the container to hold them in place.
Set outside in the sun for 45 minutes.
Place in refrigerator and allow to cool.
